"Sad on Saturday"
new ep out sept 6
A collection of songs about growing up feeling lonely, and how you deal with that, how you make do with just a couple friends and get lost into hobbies you wouldn't have if you were a popular kid.
This is an EP about not being invited to the party and how you eventually have to learn to love yourself not based on how everyone has treated you or on how much you fit in, but based on discovering how beautiful you are in all your diversity. It's an album about being the classroom nerd, about coming out of the closet, about choosing an off-the-beaten-path route in life.
Sad on Saturday is a cathartic album I wrote in 2015 during a particularly difficult time. I dedicate it to anyone who's ever felt Sad on Saturdays. I want to let them know that it gets better if you give it time.
